Elsevier Early Career Researcher Awards
Championing the UK’s early career researchers
As part of Elsevier’s commitment to supporting the research community and advancing scientific research, the company partners with the US-UK Fulbright Commission for the bi-annual Early Career Researcher Awards. The awards seek to recognise and reward talent, knowledge and expertise among early career researchers in the UK.
We work closely with past and present award winners to create a wealth of content that can be utilised on Elsevier’s social channels and with target media both pre and post event.
To encourage further engagement with the research community, we also created and managed an open category focusing on the communication of science. We worked with the presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Inside Science Adam Rutherford to start a social media conversation about the importance of communicating new research and discoveries to the general public, and we partnered with Universities across the UK to extend the reach of the award and celebrate the shortlisted nominees.
