Kaizo has been appointed by Ubooly, the world’s first multilingual interactive toy, to launch its brand across Europe. Initial activity will be taking place in the UK, France and Spain. Kaizo will work alongside its Worldcom partners, HBI in Germany and Yucatan in France, to deliver the programme in time for the Christmas season.
A unique, interactive toy which works with either an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, Ubooly combines imagination, education and active play to deliver an immersive experience proven to engage children seven times longer than comparable toys. Stocked in Apple stores and online, Ubooly is at the forefront of a new type of game play, which encourages children to be active and imaginative whilst making learning fun.
Carly Gloge, Founder of Ubooly said: “Having worked in the toy industry we felt saddened to see that many toys only had two days of play on average before the child became bored. We wanted to create a toy that would be able to continually engage with children and allow them to explore active, imagination led play as well as having educational benefits that please the parent too. We are excited to have Kaizo on board helping us to raise the profile of Ubooly within Europe and accompanying us as we grow as a brand.”
The European launch comes as Ubooly announces the full translation of its content into four new languages; French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. Boasting voice recognition technology for interactive play and continual app updates, Ubooly has growth plans and a product development roadmap which includes free app updates on a weekly basis.
Rhodri Harries, MD of Kaizo, said: “We are delighted to be working with Ubooly, not only is it a fantastic example of the growing appcessory category across Europe, but as a father myself it is great to see a product that gets kids thinking and learning whilst playing.”
Kaizo’s track record with other ambitious, fast growth consumer technology brands includes, Sphero, Fitbit and Flip Video.
